Rockstar announces GTA 6 Extended Look

An extended look premieres August 27, 2026 on Netflix and the official channel. It is marketing, not the game.

Rockstar opened official pre-orders. Take-Two called the start exceptional and did not publish unit counts.

Rockstar moved the game off May 26, 2026 and locked November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series.

The second official trailer dropped in May 2025 with a May 26, 2026 launch — a date Rockstar later replaced.

The December 2023 reveal showed Leonida/Vice City and the duo. That trailer’s “2025” window is gone.
